Our flagship Leadership Development Roundtable (LDR) program is building a powerful movement of representative, diverse leaders with the competencies, mindset, drive and relationships to create lasting change for an equitable Connecticut. Each Roundtable is a ten-month small cohort experience that will improve your leadership practice in tangible ways, so you can realize transformational, observable results.
Nonprofit LDR returns in 2021
Invest in your impact
As a strengths-based, action-oriented program building nonprofit leadership in Connecticut, LDR offers you the time, space, and support to increase your impact. The program focuses on helping you build your skills, expand your network, and connect with peers to address systemic inequities and realize equity in Connecticut.
Create and implement an individual development plan, working with an individual coach to achieve your goals.
Learn and practice new leadership skills to tackle current challenges facing your organization.
Build close and lasting relationships with a diverse cohort of peers and find support in your efforts to realize equity
Being a part of LDR was and still is invaluable. It has allowed me to create and maintain relationships with peers that attended the roundtable in years before and after me. These relationships have resulted in numerous opportunities to grow my skills and knowledge in many areas as well as assist others.
Leadership skills are generally not taught, and as a busy professional, I didn’t really take the time to invest in my own leadership development. LDR changed all that by providing the time, structure and motivation to focus on my own development.
Tri-Sector LDR coming in 2021
join the first tri-sector cohort
Building on the success of LDR for nonprofit leaders, Five Frogs will assemble a “tri-sector” LDR cohort in 2021. This program will enroll leaders from the nonprofit, business and public sectors to support cross-sector learning and collaboration. Leaders will benefit from all the elements of the flagship LDR program. And, in addition, you will learn from your peers about leading in the context of different sectors. Stay tuned for more information about applications!
The LDR program has been instrumental in helping me grow as a person and as a professional. There has been so much growth as a leader and so much internal change in perspectives that have led to positive and fruitful changes in my approach to the work that I do as a leader and a colleague.
If you have hesitation about stepping outside your comfort zone, the Leadership Development Roundtable is for you. It pushes you to think outside the box and to build a leader in yourself – and, most importantly, in others.
