Invest in your impact
As a strengths-based, action-oriented program building nonprofit leadership in Connecticut, LDR offers you the time, space, and support to increase your impact. The program focuses on helping you build your skills, expand your network, and connect with peers to address systemic inequities and realize equity in Connecticut.
Invest in your impact
Building on the success of LDR for nonprofit leaders, Five Frogs also offers a “tri-sector” cohort for leaders from the nonprofit, private and public sectors to support cross-sector learning and collaboration. Leaders benefit from all elements of the flagship LDR program and also learn from peers about leading in the context of different sectors.
Being a part of LDR was and still is invaluable. It has allowed me to create and maintain relationships with peers that attended the roundtable in years before and after me. These relationships have resulted in numerous opportunities to grow my skills and knowledge in many areas as well as assist others.
Leadership skills are generally not taught, and as a busy professional, I didn’t really take the time to invest in my own leadership development. LDR changed all that by providing the time, structure and motivation to focus on my own development.
The LDR program has been instrumental in helping me grow as a person and as a professional. There has been so much growth as a leader and so much internal change in perspectives that have led to positive and fruitful changes in my approach to the work that I do as a leader and a colleague.
If you have hesitation about stepping outside your comfort zone, the Leadership Development Roundtable is for you. It pushes you to think outside the box and to build a leader in yourself – and, most importantly, in others.
